BLH Consultants LLC
BLH Consultants is led by Bennett Helms, P.E., who began his career as
a Systems Engineer with the Industrial Group of Honeywell. He joined Lockwood
Greene Engineers as a Department Head and later became a Project Manager.
As Senior Vice President, he was a Company Director and member of the
Executive Committee. He was asked to chair the Corporate Planning Committee
and to form the firm’s first Corporate Business Development effort.
He had the responsibility of planning and growing the company. He organized
that effort and the firm grew from 125 engineers, architects, and designers
to a current staff of 2,500 with offices in all major areas of the world.
Helms is a Registered Chemical Engineer having completed the Executive
Program at the Graduate School of Business at Carnegie Mellon and Strategic
Planning courses at Harvard University. He is the owner and principal
of BLH Consultants and has held the position of CEO in other companies,
as well as being a member of Boards of Directors on both private corporations
and governmental institutions.
